Babes with Bullets™ would like to thank Foundation Sponsor, Smith & Wesson, and Platinum Sponsor, The United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), for their continued support of the Babes with Bullets Ladio Action Shooting Camps.

Foundation Sponsor:
Smith & Wesson has been the Foundation Sponsor for Babes with Bullets since the camps began in April 2004. Along with being a largest financial backer to the program, which allows women to attend at a strongly discounted price, S&W has also donated ALL the firearms (handguns and rifles) used for the both the action pistol camps and also the rifle camps.
Platinum Sponsor:
OTIS Technology came onboard as a Platinum Sponsor for Babes with Bullets beginning in early 2010. Besides their financial support OTIS Technology also donates their OTIS Elite package (a very upscale cleaning system for pistols, rifles and shotguns) for each camp. Then OTIS Technology took it one step further and booked a Babes with Bullets camp as a training event for their female employees.
Gold Sponsors:
USPSA has always been a huge “cheerleader” for the Babes with Bullets program. Their financial support to assist our instructors with airfare to the various regions across the US has allowed our program to continue recruiting the top female firearms champions. USPSA also assists us with various PR and media campaigns to assist us in reaching the novice women that we enjoy having at camp.
Our faithful camera supervisor, Marilyn Vogel of ProVideos 4 U, is also our “makes magic in the studio” editor! Marilyn, joined by ProVideos 4 U owner Bob Martin, has been the driving force behind the webisodes enjoyed at our website. They are irreplaceable and their unpaid/donated hours to our project is beyond words!
Silver Sponsors:
Chris Quam of Hi Viz is not only a several time Babes with Bullets alum, she is also the driving force behind the Hi Viz scholarship program offered to deserving women who want to attend camp. Hi Viz also donated all the sights used on the camp guns along with our limited edition “Babes” M&P guns. Hi Viz continues to help our camps through related media campaigns and has been onboard as a sponsor since 2007.
Safariland stepped up in early 2010 to provide the Babes with Bullets camps with thousands (and thousands) of dollars of holsters, belts, mag pouches and assorted other equipment. When we state to women that they can come to camp and “try before they buy” it wouldn’t be possible without S&W having donated guns and Safariland having donated all the gear to hold the gun up!
As Babes with Bullets prepared to introduce Part 2 – the rifle, it became evident that a quality scope would be needed. Nikon stepped forward in 2010 with its superb M223 1 x 4 scope along with the M223 mount. This very generous sponsorship provided us with a way to outfit all the S&W AR-15 rifles that were donated. Our novice female campers now have the opportunity once again to “try before they buy” and of course we are hoping they not only buy what they try at camp but we want them to bring many other women back with them to camp in the years to come.
It comes as no surprise that getting enough .9mm ammo set aside for our camps has been an on-going challenge. (Women coming to our camps count on us to have ammo for them and the ability to sell it to them at very reasonable rates.) When Atlanta Arms & Ammo stepped forward in mid-2010 to become the official pistol ammo sponsor of our camps it was a HUGE relief to us! Considering that we go through almost 100,000 rounds of .9mm ammo per year this sponsorship is a necessity as we continue to expand our camp locations.
When we requested in early 2010 a sponsor to help us with a training laser it was Insight Technology who stepped up with their M6X product. Just in case you are wondering how we use a laser as a training tool keep in mind that a red laser light on a light target is the perfect way to show our novice ladies how they are flinching. We also use the M6X as we do a little bit of low light training at most of our camps. Along with the M6X we also have the Insight Technology “red dot” scope to help us transition our rifle campers from the AR-22’s (donated by S&W) on to the AR-15 rifles.
As we add Babes with Bullets Part 2 – the Rifle, we wanted to make sure that the AR’s, donated by S&W, had the very best of everything. JP from JP Rifles donated a variety of products for our camp rifles, specifically his world acclaimed trigger unit for each of our rifles. Some people would say we really go all out to make sure that every firearm our campers touch are “user friendly” and they would be right! A firearm that is easy for our novice women to use makes the difference between their success or failure at camp. At Babes with Bullets we are determined it be a success for every camper, at every camp.
Bronze Sponsor:
Howard Leight came on as a sponsor in early 2010 both in terms of financial support and also providing our camps with the much needed ear and eye protection for both our instructors and campers. The electronic headset, Impact, offered by Howard Leight is what all our instructors use and the various ear muffs provided to the camps by Howard Leight offers women who are flying, with limited luggage space, to “borrow” hearing and eye protection while at camp. Just one more way for every camper to “try before they buy.”
