Our VALUABLE Sponsors
Foundation Sponsor:
Smith & Wesson has been the Foundation Sponsor for Babes with Bullets since the camps began in April 2004. Smith & Wesson also provides all the loaner equipment in both handguns and rifles so that campers attending who do not have a gun have the opportunity to “try before they buy.” Having both S&W handguns (.22 caliber along with the .9mm M&P) and also S&W rifles (.22 caliber and .223 caliber) is invaluable!
Platinum Sponsor:
OTIS Technology came onboard as a Platinum Sponsor for Babes with Bullets beginning in early 2010. Besides their financial support OTIS Technology also donates their OTIS Elite package (a top of the line cleaning system for pistols, rifles and shotguns) for each camp. This package, along with a “Babes” tiara, is awarded to a novice camper who has the best group of six shots by the end of the second day at camp. This much enjoyed camp experience is now called the “OTIS Novice Group Goddess” shoot-off.
Besides being a Platinum Sponsor OTIS Technology took their sponsorship even one step further. Beginning in 2010 a “Babes” training camp is now offered to OTIS female employees each summer utilizing the Lucky Star Ranch (owned by OTIS) in upstate New York. Doreen Garrett and Denise Miller (President and Vice-President of OTIS) are an example of how women in the firearms industry can make a huge difference!
Gold Sponsors:
The financial support from United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) starting back in 2008 has been invaluable! Their grant provides our instructors with airfare dollars to the various camps across the country. This enables us to continue recruiting the top female firearms champions. USPSA also allows us to sign up our campers for an annual membership at a discounted rate. Each student leaving camp will receive the bi-monthly Front Sight magazine and receive a USPSA membership card.
Our faithful camera supervisor, Marilyn Vogel of ProVideos 4 U, is also our “makes magic in the studio” editor! Marilyn, joined by ProVideos 4 U owner Bob Martin, has been the driving force behind the webisodes enjoyed at our website and also at www.OutdoorChannel.com/BabeswithBullets. This team is irreplaceable and their commitment to our project is beyond words! (FYI – Marilyn is also a Babes with Bullets alum and a multi-gun competitor.)
Silver Sponsors:
Hi Viz Shooting Systems has been a sponsor of our camps since 2007. Chris Quam, Director of Sales for Hi Viz, is a several time Babes with Bullets alum. She is also the driving force behind the Hi Viz scholarship program offered to deserving women who want to attend camp at a discount. In addition to financial support Hi Viz also donated all the sights used on the camp guns along with our limited edition “Babes” M&P guns.

Atlanta Arms & Ammo came on board as a Silver Sponsor for Babes with Bullets ™ in 2010. Finding a reliable source of .9mm ammo at a discounted rate to offer to our campers had been an on-going challenge. Considering that we go through over a 100,000 rounds of .9mm ammo per year having Atlanta Arms & Ammo step forward to become the official handgun ammo sponsor was one more way that we could continue to expand the camps across the country.

For those of you who know about rifles the name JP Enterprises is synonymous “high quality and great triggers.” We were thrilled when JP came on board in 2010 as a camp sponsor. They donated a variety of products for our S&W camp rifles, specifically their outstanding trigger unit. Some people would say we really go all out to make sure that every firearm our campers touch are “user friendly” and they would be right!
A firearm that is easy for our novice women to use, including top of the line triggers, makes their camp experience that much more successful. JP Enterprise also donated one of their custom AR-15 rifles to be auctioned off in 2011. A portion of the proceeds from the JP rifle will be used for additional rifle camp scholarships.
Bronze Sponsors:
Howard Leight came on as a sponsor for the Babes with Bullets camps in early 2010 both in terms of financial support and also providing our camps with the much needed ear and eye protection for both our instructors and campers. With many of our campers flying into the programs, with limited luggage room, the hearing and eye protection being provided on loan is yet another way to “try before they buy”. And big kudos to Howard Leight for sending two of their female sales and marketing women to our April 2011 camp! Having women in the industry support our program as we teach more women about firearms is a trend that we see growing so please support that effort.
