For these women it’s about to become fact instead of fiction as they become part of the Ladies Adventure Camps™.

We Capture Each Woman's Individual Emotions As a soft adventure series, we don't worry about the whole “agony of defeat” theme.  These camps are geared to embrace and empower women of diverse ages and skill levels. This is more then a new thrill, this is a way for women to do something for themselves.  Whether their goal is to confront a fear, build a memory or make new friends; Ladies Adventure Camps™ is the vehicle to capture their individual emotions!

The Desire To Try Something New  The wide variety of campers, whether they are divorced, single, widowed, with or without children, share one thing in common: the desire to try something new!

Empowering Women Ladies Adventure Camps™ end with each woman being empowered to be just a bit more than she was when she came to camp. Along the way, campers create new friends and lots of shared memories.

Taught By Women What makes these events so very different is that Ladies Adventure Camps™ are not just attended by women, they are also taught by women who are experts in each adventure area!

An Exploding (and lucrative) Demographic The most recent U.S. census indicated that 60% of the women in the United States are now over 40 years old. This huge demographic of middle-age women also comes with an unusual side story…they have expendable income and are willing to spend some of it on themselves! Keep in mind that these same women, thousands of them, want to enjoy new adventures, but that doesn’t mean they want to return home in a leg cast!

The Forbidden Fruit   Ferns, in her early 50’s, married and mother of two daughters, is also author of Babes With Bullets…Women Having Fun With Guns™. A corporate meeting planner with an MBA, she now organizes ladies pistol camps across the nation for novice women that want to try this “forbidden fruit.”

Our First Cowgirl Camp  The first camp to be highlighted is Cowgirls And Company. We capture on film women who transform themselves from business executives, teachers and full-time mom’s into full-time cowgirls!

Bonding Process Along with the challenge is the opportunity to witness the bonding process that takes place between the riders and their horses, which is only surpassed by the bonding taking place between the campers.

Adding That Extra "Zing"  At Cowgirl Camp, like our other Ladies Adventure Camps™, it is the opportunity for middle-age women to add that extra “zing” to their life story.  Few of these women will consider doing an extreme sport, yet they are intrigued and enticed by these “soft adventure” camps.  Especially when the chances are slim they will return home on crutches, which seem to be a constant factor in extreme sports.

Women Are Willing And Capable Statistics from the 2005 survey done by the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) indicate that the majority of women in our demographic are willing, and capable of enjoying “soft adventures.” Whether it's learning to ride in a rodeo or participate in a Babes With Bullets™ handgun camp, these women are more than willing to give anything a try if it’s fun, exciting, and if they don’t end up on crutches at the end of camp! These camps are not related to hunting, fishing or extreme sports. Rather, they are a series of “1/2 pajama party and 1/2 new educational experience” according to executive producer, Debbie Ferns.
