Hi Deb!
I hope this email finds you well and recuperating from our Babes with Bullets camp! What a great adventure and I enjoyed every second being with you, the instructors and all the campers! I was thinking about what made this camp so “life changing” for me? Well, I’ll tell you . . .
First, I met the most awesome and talented women, women of all ages, walks of life and formed new relationships at the camp. One of my fellow campers, Terri, became my shooting teammate and best friend at camp. We worked very well together, encouraged each other. We formed a bond from day one and I know we will remain dear friends for life!
What else was so life-changing? Well, stepping outside my “comfort zone” and I found myself totally open to learning everything I could; soaking up as much knowledge from our instructors as possible. The instructors proved to all us campers that we COULD do everything they showed us and we could do it well! The instructors were positive, upbeat, encouraging and that led to being empowered! These instructors were not only our teachers, they also became our mentors. It was just amazing to see our progress in two and a half days.
And Deb I have to say just meeting you was life-changing! Your passion is contagious and your exuberance is, too! What you’re doing for women is life-changing and your dream has come to fruition. I’m here to tell you that I’m shouting it out from the rooftops to every woman I know and who I’m going to meet! You have a huge heart, super personality and I love you dearly!
I’m looking forward to attending my next camp in April at Kay’s range out near Shreveport. God Bless You, Deb! You’re one in a million!
